The Southern Cassadaga
Spiritualist Camp was established by George P. Colby for the purpose of being a
haven for Spiritualists to practice their beliefs while escaping the cold
winters in Cassadaga, New York. Since it's founding in 1875 it has been a place where mediums
and spiritual healers lived, gave readings, demonstrated public message work,
and taught classes.
Today, people come from all
over the world to visit this quaint, historical community. Cassadaga is
listed on the National Register of Historical Places, and is located
between Orlando and Daytona Beach, Florida.
